Choosing the Right Font for a Coaching Website Redesign
Recently, I was working on a redesign for a life coaching website aimed at a modern, female audience. When to Use Smart Women (and When to Step Back)
While Smart Women is versatile, it’s best used in moderation. It excels in short, impactful text like:

It’s not ideal for long paragraphs or small interface text, where clarity and neutrality are more important. Using it selectively ensures that the font remains impactful without overwhelming the user or compromising readability.
Designing for Brand Consistency and User Engagement
Choosing the right font is more than just aesthetics—it’s about creating a consistent, engaging brand experience. Smart Women helped the coaching website feel more personable and modern, while still maintaining a sense of professionalism. It encouraged users to pause and read key messages, which is crucial for landing pages and service descriptions.
By using it consistently across banners, headers, and branded graphics, I was able to reinforce the brand’s voice and visual identity throughout the site. It also translated well into downloadable brand kits and marketing assets, making it a valuable tool beyond just the website itself.
